- Chris Added October 14, 2020★ ★ ★ ★ ★Beautiful scenery with great picnic and camping spots near water. It's remote and some of the tracks are 4wd only. Encountered fallen tree across a track, so be prepared. Ruins are great photo opportunities.
- K Wolf Added October 08, 2020★ ★ ★ ★ ★Great place to visit close to Alice Springs, the 4WD track is approx 50km long was interesting to drive in the wet with some long deep boggy sections. Stopped for lunch under the magnificent red-gums along the Hugh River camping area and luckily decided not to stay since the river flooded that very night, closing access to the road, park and adjacent areas.

The remains of the house have been loving preserved. You cannot get too close, but you can get close enough to see what is a truly amazing part of australian history.
